Capt Carlo’s Restaurant
is located on Gloucester’s working waterfront, the oldest fishing port in America.

Capt Carlo’s is owned by Gloucester natives who have been in the fishing industry for four generations.

Named for and in honor of the late Capt. Carlo Ciaramitaro, the restaurant holds very proudly its reputation for having the very best of seafood to be found anywhere.
Lobsters, clams, haddock, swordfish, salmon, shrimp, scallops, and calamari are just some of the fresh seafood prepared for your appetite. The clam chowder is out of this world!
Along with a full menu of all our local seafood favorites, we also offer steaks, chicken, burgers, pastas, salads, and children’s selections.

Our atmosphere has a casual, nautical feel, but when the lights are dimmed and the candles are lit our elegance shines, never losing that very comfortable setting for the whole family. Outside dining is always a favorite on a sunny day. Our deck and dockside dining areas allow our customers to dine along side Gloucester’s inner harbor and watch the vessels unload their daily catch at the Gloucester Seafood Display Auction adjacent to the restaurant. You will find nightly entertainment throughout the season, spotlighting incredible local vocal and instrumental talent.
